What Is A Conduit Strap?
A conduit strap is designed to secure rigid/IMC conduit to a mounting surface. According to NEC code, conduit should be secured in place at least every 10 feet. Additionally, you should strap within 3 feet between rigid/IMC and each box. When you use conduit one hole strap, hole up is stronger. Conduit two hole straps are used where higher load bearing supports are needed.
