What Is A Conduit Bushing?
A conduit bushing is used on the end of rigid conduit, IMC or any other threaded connector providing a smooth surface for wires or cables when pulling. A bushing can be used with a lock nut to terminate a rigid conduit or IMC to a box. You may also use a grounding bushing to connect a grounding conductor.
