What Is A Rigid Connector?

A rigid/IMC connector is used to connect rigid/IMC conduit to a box or enclosure. Threadless connector can be used without adding threads to a cut end of the conduit. If the conduit end is threaded, in most situation, you have to use a threaded connector.
