What Is A Single Gang Weatherproof Box?
A single gang weatherproof box is a standard rectangular outdoor box for single light fixture switches and outlet receptacles. 1 gang box is generally about 2 inches wide by 4 inches tall. The standard box has 18.3 cubic inches of space while deep box provides 23.8 cubic inches of volume. Each box is individually shrink-film wrapped for powder coating protection. Single gang weatherproof boxes will be in grey, unless any other color is specified.
