Bad Conduit Support for An Outlet Box

In this episode, the metallic outlet box is not properly supported. This steel box is supported by one steel conduit only, which creates a violation of section 314.23 of the 2017 NEC. 


NEC 314.23(F) requires an outlet box that contains devices or supports lighting fixtures and is supported by entering raceways to have threaded entries (hubs) and be supported by two or more conduits threaded into the outlet box.
